Warranty Statement

The ZOLA Electric products warranty is valid for a five year period from the date of invoice against manufacturing defects. 

The warranty can be extended for additional periods from 5 years upto 20 years on demand by distributors in agreement with ZOLA.

The warranty  shall be limited to repair and/or replacement of faulty components. The decision for faulty component  repair and /or replacement shall be taken only by ZOLA.

ZOLA products purchased must be installed within a given 12 months shelf-life warranty period under specified conditions for storage and charging. Products deployed must be  registered on the ZOLA online platform by the customer or distributor within a 30 day period from the date of commissioning to be valid for warranty cover.

ZOLA products are transferable only with full compliance with terms and  conditions. 

The warranty is valid only in ZOLA accredited countries of operation. Where the product is   installed, commissioned and managed by ZOLA accredited technicians.

 

The customer or distributor shall be responsible for logistics cost for products with validated warranty claims having issued Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) form and identity number shipped with the products. Logistics cost, component repairs and/or replacement, service charges and taxes are associated with out of warranty period.

 

Exceptions to this warranty are breach conditions below:

  • Other ancillary components and appliances.
  • Defects resulting from accident, flood, fire, riots, lightning, power surge or a force majeure event.
  • Defects resulting from improper transportation, storage, wiring, installation or improper use of the ZOLA System or use outside its normal application.
  • Defects resulting from a battery not used for more than 12 months, exposed to extreme heat or cold, or charged by other chargers not approved by ZOLA.
  • Product where the serial number or any part thereof altered, defaced or removed.
  • Product exposed to unauthorized application not included in the user manual and/or the Customer Acceptance Test (CAT) sign-off
  • ZOLA systems normal wear and tear or deterioration, or superficial defects, dents or marks that do not impact the performance.
  • Unauthorized modifications carried out on the products and/or attempted opening of the product.
  • Product damage or deterioration after expiration of the Warranty Period.
